One thing everyone on #Buzznet loves is music bescuase lets face it #musicrules. For #Nylonmagazine music issue Canadian rocker #AvrilLavigne is pretty in punk on the cover. I picked up the issue hoping to have the interview re-new my faith in Avril's music since I feel like she hasn't changed her sound or style since the Best Damn Thing & her latest single Here's To Never Growing Up doesn't lead one to believe she's going to. The title its self gives the impression that she's still content on acting like she's 21 not going on 28.
I was a bit disapointed with the interview, sadly I was hoping that it talked more about her music & less about how she met Chad Kroeger because he is just ewww. Anyways, her new record wasn't really talked about other then that its set to be released in the fall and Avril says it's more diverse than her old stuff and she's going back to her complicated days.
"This time it's not just all songs aboiut relastionships and dudes" - Avril Lavigne. I sure hope so.
On the fashion side of things I really like the outfits she wore for the cover and interview. They are still very much rocker looking but it's a lot more minimal then we're used to seeing, I'm loving the shark tooth necklace she's sporting.
What do you guys think, is Avril Lavigne moving towards a more grown up sound well going back to her Complicated days or will this record be more of the same?
Let me know your thoughts in a comment (:
